you are sick. in fact, you think you might have a case of strep throat because your throat is kind of funny feeling, your joints hurt, and you're sweating balls, even though it's a good thing, but it makes you feel miserable nonetheless. you already left night class early because you felt like throwing up, and then came back to your room and napped on and off until ten at night, at which you feel like the tiny room you're in is actually in hell it is that hot, and your one, shitty little fan from Target is just not cutting it.

what do you do next?

(1) suck it up, wrap the blankets around you to sweat the motherfucker out as you watch the first episode of Maou in 1260 resolution in total and absolute darkness, hoping the sickness will be scared out of you, too.

(2) get dressed and head on over to the 24 hour Wal-Mart to get another fan.

(3) get dressed and get something to eat, even though you're not hungry (you're never hungry), but you know it's probably good for you to have more than just a granola bar during the span of the day.

(4) fuck everything, turn the computer off and go the fuck to bed.

I become such a baby when I'm sick, seriously, but it's because I never get sick. I get sick like, twice a year, if that. I'm allowed. :C

I've decided to stop checking the flist during the amount of time it takes for me to download the episodes of Maou and actually get around to watching it. this is mostly because people are retarded and post EVERYTHING without a freakin' LJ cut so they can *~brag~* and whatnot, and should it continue and I keep getting spoiled, I'll only end up being the HBIC and fandom is not worth the damn effort. fuck, they don't even post it at the relevant communities! annoying.

happy fourth everybody, even though I'm an hour late. I spent this morning with Taylor and his family who came down to visit him and his sister and I bonded with our love for Cobra Starship. um. kind of awkward in some places. will explain sometime later, along with a SHOCKINGU REVELATION. stay tuned. or not, whatever.

I left his apartment at around 2 and drove back home since we had about half of central Jersey at our house. this also turned into a hot, awkward mess when Nik came walking through the door with his mom in tow, so I did the first thing I thought of, which was to call Lori and beg her to come over. she made it in RECORD TIME, too, so there was basically no opportunity for him to corner me and idk, make me feel even worse about myself. ugh. I'm SO MAD about this. I almost want to be a brat and blame my mom for inviting them, but it's not like she can help it because she has no idea what happened, and she never will (God willing). he's actually downstairs still, though he comes upstairs to hang out with my brother but he loiters outside my door from time to time. during these times, Lori takes it upon herself to be extra loud and obnoxious. I kind of heart her a lot right now.

ummmm. summer classes are going okay. I've already promised Mariela that if I don't get an A in both of my classes, I'm going to just end myself. we're learning freakin' mitosis and meiosis in bio and music in my sounds & symbols class. I've become That Asshole who raises her hand to answer every single question because no one else knows it (not like I blame them, since music is pretty much negligible if you're not a music/performing major of some sort). but it's not a bad way to spend my tuesdays and thursdays, I suppose.

living with Mariela is pretty okay so far. she's still kind of the same, self-centered Mariela I've always known, but it's a lot more tolerable these days. except when she makes me hang out with her and her 83747184 boys that are in love with her or whatever. like on Wednesday. god, it was the most awkward thing ever. so awkward, I texted Taylor and told him to call me, and he did, and then I left the house to talk to him and he was all, "zomg are you okay?????" and I'm like, "ugh, yeah, just. awkward social situation is awkward." so I ended up going to Perkins with him and his best friend/roommate, and then went back to his house to play some SSBB and watch a movie. Mariela freaked the fuck out on me and was all like, "YOU LEFT ME! ;O;" afterwards, but she got over it. I think. ...maybe.

in other, a bit more sad news, I've completely lost my Ron-muse and am desperate to get him back. I sat and tried to write a small bit of Ron/Draco tonight and nothing came, and I'm actually really upset about this. ): I love my Ron. maybe I should start with baby steps, but that'll just end up boring me, so I don't really know what to do here. I still have to write a Ron/Pansy/Blaise smutfest for andshehopes because movie!Blaise is FUCKING HOT AS HELL but alas, it can't be done when I can't write Ron. btw, Autumn, I completely miss our Ron/Pansy interactions. ): I still remember Pansy being all like, "this thing has an apple on it but no apples come out. wtf is this shit." ahhhhhh, early!Brawl. I kind of miss it. (I should stop lying.)

I think that's it for now. going to bed soon, after I watch some subbed HnA-chan. my brother, dad and I are going to battle it out Wii-style tomorrow to figure out what movie we may go see. ahhh, I wish my brother would upload the videos from my family's last rousing game of Wii Sports, because it's hysterical. and then I realized that it doesn't matter if you don't speak/understand Chinese. uh, oops.

my good friend from school just moved to Cali, right, to be a model. she got signed to some agency and everything and moved there not two weeks ago.

so uh. she just called me and I couldn't really understand what she was saying because she was talking too fast and wherever she was was really freakin' loud. so I'm like, "AVERIL, I CAN'T FUCKING HEAR YOU CHICK!" and I hear her scream, "SORRY, BUT GUESS WHERE -- NEVERMIND I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU!"

and she passes the phone to somebody and in my mind, I'm like, "this better be fucking worth it! I've got writing to do!" and then.

so of course, he laughs at me because I'M AN ASSHAT. and then I manage to calm down enough to actually have a conversation with him that lasted approximately thirty-one seconds, during which we talked about the new single cover and I told him I went to his concert in Scranton and it was the time of my life and etc. but then they had to go since they were starting the video shoot for "Flashing Lights", and so he thanked me for being a fan and believing in his music and gave the phone back to Averil. she quickly told me how Kanye's people went around and handpicked models to be in the video, and she was picked! and she got there and was like, "hello sir, here, talk to my friend please!" and he was really cool about it (which really surprised me, because it's Kanye West; he's not the most modest of human beings).

I'm pretty sure I can die happy now. I'm very aware of how retarded I sound right now, but dude, Kanye West just talked to me.

for those who've seen the latest Utaban with Arashi on it, can someone verify whether or not Sho called Aiba "Masaki" WITHOUT honorifics? I can't tell if he said "Masaki" or something else that sounds like it cause Nakai and Nino are being loud. >( it's at around 12:10, and I uh. it sounds like it, and I listened to it over and over and have somehow convinced myself so and it's making me feel so warm and fluffy on the inside.

Lori and I started watching Yasashii Jikan today because I was like, "oh lookit, Nino drama I've never seen!", and so far we've only seen episode one and we're a little weirded out by the father speaking to a ghost to continue watching right now. the face Nino gives at the end to Michiru-in-Last-Friends (I can't remember her name, so I'll call her that for now. >>;) is just hysterical, because he looks absolutely appalled that she's there even though he offered her free plates. Lori summed it up nicely: "dude, he looks like he wants to say, "...yo, I was totes kidding about the 'free plates' thing, I just said all that bull so I can develop you into a plot point and get into your pants later.' man, what a smooth guy, that Taku."

Nino's hair is gorgeous, though. I really like the shaggy dog look.

anyway, I also set out to make some icons this morning! but then I got lazy after only making 20-something of them. and you'd never think that Aiba's my favorite from the folder I saved them all in because there are 10 Sho one's and like, 2 of Aiba. maybe. they're not even that good, I don't know why I kept them, lol. except for this one. it's my favorite, actually, haha! nothing new to post, except that I got a SWEET Cobra Starship shirt from Hot Topic. by 'sweet', I mean BRIGHT PINK and obnoxious, of course. I also got a book from Borders; it's a graphic novel called, "American Born Chinese" and it's really good so far! it's pretty much the best telling of what being a first generation American-born Chinese person is like. er, from my experiences, anyway.

um, let's see. I changed my layout even though I still love teh Junno, but um, it's kind of awkward talking to your parents when they come into your room while you're viewing your flist and idk, some half naked man with his nipples hanging out is staring at you from the screen. :| and also, I haven't used blue in awhile. also, Jun is almost doing his 'biting lower lip' smile that I really, really like, and idk, this picture's just cute, okay. I also redid my userinfo because the new photoshoot of them surrounded by aluminum foil and music things was amazing. even Nino looked sexy! (that isn't to say that Nino isn't sexy, it's just that he usually looks too much like a 16 year old for me to think of him that way. please don't kill me Nino fangirls! ;;)
